This site is dedicated to the stories that flow from the Hudson River and the New Yorkers who draw sustenance and inspiration from it. The Hudson River is the greatest vestige of a vast wilderness we now call New York City and it speaks to many of us in a primal way. Hudson River Stories chronicles the influence of that call on daily life in the city.
Hello,
What a good idea for a blog. I’m passing along a poem about Hoboken in the early 1980s when the Hudson was a crazy refuge for me.
